The Hario V60 is a high-risk, high-reward brewer. It requires technique, but if successful, the rewards are clean and complex cups.

Dose: 22g coffee
Water: 340g water
Grind: medium
Time: 3:30 min

  1. Put V60 & mug on scale
  2. Place filter in V60
  3. Wet filter & dump water
  4. Evenly distribute grounds
  5. Tare scale & start timer
  6. Wet coffee with 40g water
  7. At 0:35, slowly pour to 140g
  8. At 1:10, pour to 240g
  9. At 2:10, pour to 340g
  10. Pour & enjoy
