FAQs
When will I receive my coffee after placing an order?
We roast your coffee to order, ensuring it's at peak freshness when it reaches you. Orders are typically roasted and shipped within 1–2 business days. Most deliveries arrive within 3–6 business days across India.
How is the coffee from Lore & Roast different from instant or other roasted coffee?
Unlike instant coffee or large-scale commercial blends, Lore & Roast offers freshly roasted, single-origin coffees from small estates across Latin America and Africa. We highlight the natural flavor profiles of each bean whether floral, fruity, nutty, or chocolatey so you experience coffee as it was meant to taste.
What brewing method do you recommend for your coffee?
We roast our beans to perform beautifully across different brewing methods—be it pour-over, French press, AeroPress, or espresso. That said, the perfect brew is the one you enjoy most. Check out our blog or follow us on [Instagram] and [Facebook] for brewing guides and pairings we love.
How should I store my coffee?
Store your coffee in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, moisture, or heat. For best results, keep the beans in our resealable pouch or transfer to an airtight container. Our coffee stays fresh for 3–4 weeks after opening, but we recommend consuming it sooner for optimal flavor.
What is the difference in coffees from various estates and countries?
Coffee is deeply influenced by its origin, soil, climate, elevation, and processing all matter. Beans from Ethiopia may be floral and tea-like, while beans from Colombia can be balanced and citrusy. At Lore & Roast, we curate these differences so you can explore a world of flavors with every bag.
Do you offer subscriptions?
Yes, we’re working on launching flexible coffee subscriptions so you never run out of fresh beans. You’ll be able to choose your roast, grind type, quantity, and delivery frequency. Sign up for updates [here] or follow us on social to know when we go live.
Is your coffee organic?
We work with farms that prioritize sustainable and ethical farming practices, some of which are certified organic. While not all our coffees are officially certified, we emphasize transparency and traceability. Our sourcing partners maintain high environmental and quality standards.
Do you grind the beans?
Yes! While we always recommend whole beans for the freshest cup, we also offer grinding options based on your brew method like French press, pour-over, or moka pot. Just select your grind preference at checkout.
