French Press
The French press is an immersion brewers known for dense, sweet cups. These brews taste great, but be careful not to over-extract.
Dose: 40g coffee
Water: 600g water
Grind: medium
Time: 5 minutes
- Place press on scale
- Add 40g ground coffee
- Tare scale & start timer
- Pour 600g water
- At 1:00, dunk grinds
- Place plunger on press
- At 4:30, remove plunger
- Skim frothy stuff off top
- Place plunger on press
- At 4:45, slowly plunge
- Decant, pour, enjoy!
